Senior Summer campers are entering fifth or sixth grade.
The guiding principle of our program is to give each child the opportunity to develop his or her own passion. Consistent with and rooted in the Elmwood mission, it is designed to provide campers with the opportunity to specialize in the areas of greatest interest to them.
Majors are a two week experience that allow our campers to specialize in an area of greatest interest to them. Choices include: lacrosse, hiking adventures, rock band and ceramics. Click here for the 2014 major choices in the EWD Senior 2014 Brochure.
Each day during Morning Rally our seniors will learn about the minor offerings of the day. All of the options will focus on skill development and fun. A few of the minor options that will be offered are street games, open art, field sports, yoga and instructional swim.
Wednesdays are trip days. We will travel as a group to places like Space Odyssey, Lake Compounce and a New York City comedy show. In Session 2, we are off on a one night overnight adventure. This trip will include time at a waterpark and a visit to an interactive museum.
